Louise Wener began her writing career as a lyricist, penning top-ten hits for the pop band, Sleeper. Since then she has written four novels: Goodnight Steve McQueen, The Perfect Play, The Half Life of Stars, and Worldwide Adventures in Love. Most recently, she published her autobiography, Different For Girls: a humorous account of growing up with eighties music and her time at the heart of nineties Britpop. Louise is an experienced creative writing tutor. She has just been commissioned to write her first feature length screenplay and is currently working on a drama series for the BBC.
